Pour les vannes \u00e0 globe de 12,7 mm (1\/2 pouce), les valeurs de Cv se situent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement entre 0,5 et 4,0 selon la conception de la vanne et la configuration des garnitures. Une valeur trop faible entra\u00eene une perte de charge excessive. Une valeur trop \u00e9lev\u00e9e fait que la vanne fonctionne presque compl\u00e8tement ouverte, ce qui r\u00e9duit la pr\u00e9cision du r\u00e9glage.
